That Dam Run

This amazing course showcases landmarks unique to Biloela, utilising the usually ‘restricted’ dam wall as the majority of the course.

Visitors and locals alike can take advantage of this opportunity to view Lake Callide Dam and Callide Power Station from this rare vantage point.

The event features a 2km fun run, 5km, 10km and 15km catering for all capabilities and energy levels. The 2km track will consist of a 1km out and back along the dam wall, while the 5km, 10km and 15km will comprise of a 5km loop (including 4km of the dam wall per loop).

With a prize pool of $2,280 + product, it will be well worth travelling for.

Event Details

Suitable for the novice, intermediate and veteran runner. The surface is predominately gravel, and is relatively flat with gentle rises and falls. Run fast or slow, this course will be enjoyed by all for its views of iconic Biloela landmarks and surrounds.

RACE KIT COLLECTION

All competitors must collect their race kit before the event. From Biloela Community Kindy, 95 Kariboe Street, Biloela (enter carpark via Callide St.) on SATURDAY 15 JUNE between 3.30pm-6pm. Contact Michelle at biloelakindergarten@bigpond.com if you are unable to collect during this time or if you arrange someone to collect on your behalf. Kits will include racing bib with timing chip and merchandise if pre-purchased during online registration.

Teams: only one team representative is required to collect the team kit.

SPECTATORS
Spectators will be kept entertained with a great view of the course, coffee van, jumping castle, face painting, bacon/sausage and eggs breakfast available, home-baked goods and an array of stalls.

MERCHANDISE
Trucker-style caps available. To guarentee availability, must purchase before early bird cut off.
